What We’re Building

DAC is building free and low-cost pathways for organizations to understand, question, and responsibly use artificial intelligence.

We help communities, nonprofits, schools, healthcare organizations, civic groups, social work programs, universities, and research partners understand how AI tools and automated decision systems shape everyday life.

Through workshops, organizational assessments, applied research support, and collaborative partnerships, DAC helps organizations develop AI governance, strengthen transparency, reduce preventable harm, improve accountability, and implement ethical, community-governed AI practices.

AI and Decolonial Literacy for the Communities Most Affected by Artificial Intelligence

The Decolonial Algorithmic Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit education, research, and social-impact AI organization advancing AI literacy, decolonial literacy, algorithmic accountability, nonprofit capacity-building, reproductive health AI safety education, and access to Justice AI for community organizations.

DAC partners with universities, research organizations, nonprofits, social work programs, and community-based institutions to build ethical, community-governed AI capacity through education, applied research, and workshops.

Why Your Support Matters

DAC uses donations and grant funding to reduce financial barriers to AI literacy, decolonial education, algorithmic accountability, and access to Justice AI. Your support helps make workshops, public resources, organizational assessments, and community-centered AI tools available to organizations that would otherwise be priced out of this work.

Community Transparency

The Decolonial Algorithmic Coalition is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

DAC is committed to transparent stewardship of donations, grants, and community support. Funds support nonprofit operations, compliance, accounting, public education materials, curriculum development, workshops, organizational assessments, research partnerships, Justice AI access, reproductive health AI safety education, and launch infrastructure.

As DAC grows, we will provide regular public updates on how funds are used, what programs are launched, what grants are pursued or awarded, and how community support is moving the work forward.

DAC will maintain internal financial records, board oversight, monthly budget tracking, and responsible reporting practices.

Justice AI should not be limited to organizations with the biggest budgets.

DAC expands access to Justice AI by providing training, implementation support, and long-term AI capacity-building for nonprofits, schools, community organizations, researchers, and public-interest institutions through grants, sponsorships, strategic partnerships, and community investment.

Reproductive Health & AI Education

In partnership with reproductive health educators and researchers, DAC develops educational programs exploring how artificial intelligence intersects with reproductive health, digital safety, misinformation, consent, privacy, and public education.

Programs are designed for nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educators, researchers, and community partners.

Research & University Partnerships

DAC collaborates with universities, research organizations, students, faculty, and interdisciplinary teams on applied AI research, community-engaged scholarship, ethical technology development, and public-interest innovation.
